Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook: This hotel is utter perfection. If you are looking for the perfect hotel to lay your head equipped with incredible service, cool vibe and art then look no further. Plus, the location is unbeatable for a weekend getaway to mountain Brook you are within walking distance to shops, restaurants, The Botanical Gardens and The Birmingham Zoo. You literally will never have to leave the area!
Room: A dream..literally. Incredible bedding and comfortable mattresses. I slept sound each night and looked forward to the robes and relaxing each evening. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the art is a special touch.
Food: Habitat Feed and Social cooking school: Great for team events and holiday parties. Very unique experience offered!
Bar: Cocktail bar was über luxurious and the elegant avant grade rooftop was a perfect spot to sip a glass of wine by the fire
Service: was PHENOMENAL! I am a Bonvoy girl and the service did not disappoint! From the moment you are greeted til you leave they are kind, courteous, warm, and friendly! They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable

Revelator Coffee- A local Coffee shop with serene and minimalistic design and hipster vibes. I highly recommend the Match latte with oak milk (of course)

Over Easy: Perfect spot to get all the southern traditions. Deemed as “A place for people who love breakfast” and they are right about this. Over Easy has something for everyone.
Another Broken Egg: A staple here in Atlanta and in the South as a whole. The beignets are soooo delish. Grab a spot on the patio and enjoy.
Lunch:
Davenports Pizza Palace: Calling all pizza lovers…..If you love pizza… well, look no further than this gem.
Dinner:
Daniel George: aka DG. Quaint Italian eatery in the heart of Mountain Brook. Great date night spot with upscale cuisine
Brick and Tin: If you are looking for a vibe then look no further. Brick and tin offers everything from paninis to small plates and there’s even a heap of salads for you health seekers (aka me). Brick and Tin offers an assortment of food and a fantastic beverage menu. Laid back industrial vibe; which is perfect for a night out
Golden Age Wine: This is my kind of place! A mix of quaint and mid century modern. This is the perfect spot to indulge in delicious top of the line (all price point) wine. They also have beer, pour over coffee and kombucha. There is literally something for everyone. Grab a cheese and charcuterie board and make it an evening.
Shop:
Stella Blu Boutique: Very affordable and Uber Chic boutique in the heart of Mountain Brooke. Everything from casual to a night out and of course some amazing accessories to complete your look!
Eleven Eleven Clothiers: Great boutique to pick up some fashionable athletic (or Athleisure) wear. Grab a new workout outfit and head over to Mpower to test it out! Great gear from Barre to Bar!
Antiques Galore: So many great antique stores for your home within walking distance

MPower Pilates + Cycle: This place was FANTASTIC!! Such a great workout and the instructors friendly yet pushed you which is what you want in a workout. A major PERK: EPower offers your first week FREE!! So it is perfect for your weekend getaway to get your exercise in! If you have never tried a MEGA-REFORMER this is a MUST! One of the BEST all over (especially core) workouts!
Birmingham Zoo: Perfect family attraction and walking distance. Check out their events calendar for special events going on during your stay!
Birmingham Botanical Gardens- named by USA Today as one of the Top 3 (FREE) attractions in American and there is good reason! Such a beautiful space to wonder, relax and take in all that nature provides. Check out their website for events while you are in town. Perfect way to spend a beautiful southern afternoon. Great way to get involved in the community to help preserve nature.
Mountain Brook is a fantastic weekend getaway whether it is with your special love, girls weekend or the family. You literally won't have to leave the are, but if you do you are a quick drive (or Lyft) from some amazing places in Birmingham as well! Enjoy this little southern gem!
